ABOUT

ABOUT US

LYNA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. It is a faith-based Christian humanitarian aid organization that provides needed assistance to people with physical as well as spiritual needs. The organization’s president is Raymond S. Porter, a respected community leader. The name of the organization commemorates the New Testament Parable in which Jesus teaches people “The Golden Rule”, “love your neighbor as yourself". Our  goal is to address Hunger Awareness and Poverty in America and make historical changes to our broken system. And aid the precious  poor people that's forgotten and fallen through the cracks and crevices of society,  by offering  them opportunities through boot camp style reform, education, job training and placement to help reduce America’s crime rate in the inner cities.  Our duty, as Christians, is to “love thy neighbor as thyself” (Mark 12:31) regardless of race, gender, creed, nationality, or social status. We oppose all forms of discrimination, prejudice, racism and violence.
